Looking for a way of entertainment.

A sighed sitting on one of the benches around the docks. She loved the sea breeze and smiled slightly. She took out a book and began to read since she wanted to relax. She had a lot of things in her mind, for one thing what side was she really on. She did not know for she was confused about what one side could give her over another.

It was easy to see in the beginning of her task to be on the task force side. She grew up with similar thoughts on justice and she never had to doubt that laws for they protected society. She remembers when she saw Eru and she turned bright pink as she thought how that meeting turned out. She sighed and closed her eyes tight. With him it was easy to see what side was the best for her.

Then something that mixed her mind appeared. A terrifying Shinigami that broke through all her logic and she saw the supernatural was real. He despised her she knew , why? Simple , because she felt his cold eyes glaring at her as she tried to read. She sighed and looked up at him.

" Why the hell do you hate me I never did anything to you.." she mumbled to him.

Kuro then put his arms in front of him with a hard face. Well she could see only half of his face but she saw his hatred and hard look.

" Because you, stupid human, trapped me here when you touched the notebook. Secondly the human race is disgusting and full of problems. It is annoying how you are so called the top of the food chain when you are all a waste of space" he said.

She sighed and looks down.

" I am sorry I even touched it I know you do too" she mumbled. " Our imperfections make us humans so I do not disagree with you" she said

She looked out to the view and sighed once again.

Light was in the area as he walked along the docks, feeling the gentle sea breeze across his face. Light smiled as thoughts of his next moves raced through his mind. Ryuk hovered behind him with his usual wicked grin.

"Hey, Light? What are we doin here? I thought you were going to head home to write more names as you always do. What's the matter? You getting cold feet or somehing? Hehehehe"

Light closed his eyes with a confident smile then contiued walking as he spoke under his breath. "Not at all, Ryuk. To be honest, things couldn't possibly get any better..."

Ryuk smiled wide.
"Oooh. Thats very interesting, Light. I honestly can't think of anyone better suited to hold ownership over it other than you.hehehe...

Light smirked and glanced back to Ryuk. "To be honest...."

Ryuk smiled wide as Light began his sentence. He knew it would be entertaining for him.

"The day I first became the sole owner of this notebook, fate smiled upon me. Nothing will ever be the same...I have everything i want. All thats left...is to rid the world of all the useless scum that exist solely to lay ruin to it...."

"hehehehe...Glad to hear it...Light...."
Ryuk replied with his wide grin.

Light looked onward as he spotted ~A~ and decided to approach her.
"Hey, Angel. Nice to see you, again."Light said with a smile.

A looked up to see Light and smiled slightly. She was a little distracted and her thoughts , she forced to the back of her mind for it would affect her outer shell and she would hate that.

" Hello Light, and same towards you" she said softly.

She closed her book and sighed at Kuro grunted knowing she was lying. She smirked and rolled her eyes as he looked at Light and Ryuk with disgust. She knew that he hated everyone , but she found him annoying and yet amusing.

" So what brings you here?" she asked

Light moved to sit next to her, ignoring kuro.
"No reason, only trying to get in some relaxation for a day.
What about you?"Light asked, feeling slightly bored.
Ryuk looked over at kuro and crossed his arms with annoyance,
"ugh...its this guy again...what a buzz kill...hes no fun at all!"

Kuro snorted and rolled his eyes. He got a sandwich from A's bag and ate it . He was annoyed from Ryuk.

" Well you are almost as below as these creatures" he said .

A smiled softly at Light and nodded.

" I needed to take a break from life for a while and came here for the docks trying to read but someone annoyed me" she said meaning Kuro.

She felt him glare behind her head and sighed.

" Why didn't I get a shinigami like yours" she said borderline pouting.

Light laughed a little. "Its alright, Angel. I mean, Ryuk isnt exactly what you'd call a useful shinigami."He replied with a small glared toward Ryuk.
"Hey, Thats not a very nice thing to say! Maybe I should tak my notebook back!" Light sighed. "You know you can't do that, Ryuk. Besides, even if you did, I doubt you'd find better entertainment than this, right Ryuk?"
Ryuk lowered his head in failure. "Fine!......just sayin..."Ryuk mumbled poutingly in defeat as Light ignored him and focused his attention back on ~A~. "So, how are you?"Light asked.

A looked amused at their interactions and laughed lightly . Even though they argued like a married couple , they got along in a weird way. Kuro hated her and she hated him to some level. She just wanted to be civil, and not be verbally abused by a death god all the time.

She looked back to Light with a brighter smile after the short laugh.

" Well I am stressed so I came to relax. Someone stresses me out" she said .

She meant Kuro and Eru. They both wore her out emotionally.

"Oh, I get it. L is whats bothering you, isnt it? Him and kuro there both.
I'm sure if I were in your situation, I'd have the same problem.
I do hope L will come to invite me as a task force member soon.
Then our plan will be set into motion. Don't worry, Angel. I'm here for you."
Light said to her with a smile.

A said nothing , but she smiled back. Her smile was wiped off her face as Kuro snorted . She then frowned and sighed massaging her temple. Ever since she met Kuro she had turned paler and she had more stress gained on her. She closed her eyes tight sighing.

" God leave me alone" she mumbled rubbing her temple.


She did not open her eyes.

" Light, L is very curious about you. I have talked to him about you and your intelligence. He seems to ponder over it" she said sighing

"Is that necessarilly a bad thing? I mean, everyone needs a rival. Maybe he's worried that I will catch kira before him." Light said with a laugh.
"Doyou think L will come to ask me help him soon, Angel?"

A turned to him and smiled , that seemed honest. She looked at his eyes and nodded.

" I think I can convince him....and as for you catching Kira....I doubt you would catch yourself......or little old me" she said smirking

"Oh, but Angel, there are other kiras out there that i hat met. Surely i can catch one of them the clear my name right?"Light said with a smirk.
"Convince him anyway you can. "

A looked at him amazed. She leaned towards him shocked.

' You're telling me you would frame a stupid person with the notebook as the Kira?" she said eyes showing amazement at him.

She smirked leaning to him.

" Never thought pretty boy had it in him" she said " I will tell L anything I can and will try to get you in it " she said

Light smiled at A. "Why, yes, Angel. I will catch kira. I will do whatever it takes. L wont arrest me as long as kira is caught. As soon as he lets his guard down, Misa will see his name and either tell it to me or kill him herself.
She has the shinigami eyes afterall."Light explained.
"The trick is to get Misa to meet him at least once or if you know his name, you could tell me and let me kill him. Either way, it'll be a lot of work and on both scenerios, L will die. However, the first thing that must be done is tob clear my name by catching kira."

A looked at him and forced a smirk on her face. She nodded a glint in her eye. She had no idea what to feel , for the two sides were good for her. One one hand L , who has always succeeded and the other was a freshman in college , who had the supernatural on his side. She did not know who would win , but what was clear was she wanted to be on the winning side. She did not want to see or meet Misa . She knew that might be her death sentence as well. She was thinking about manipulating that naive girl. She had never met her , but seeing her commercials and all that made her get annoyed by the girl, she was clearly either faking or stupid. She hoped the second one for her advantage. She thought of what ways to do this .

' Who will take your place as the "kira' everyone admires?" she said " Anyone in mind? I mean, for L to change his mind is hard. "

Light smiled and shrugged a little.
"Whatever do you mean, Angel? I am kira. No one can truely take my place.
It isup to me to cast judgement upon the wicked....and I dont intend on giving up on that purpose. Kira...the god of the new world....there are those who will copy me...and those who will join me....only the worthy will truely hold a place in that world...it's the revolution...and you, Angel...you hold a place in that world by my side."Light explained with a dark grin.

A looked at him her eyes showing he was impressed and somehow showed respect. She never truly had let many gain her respect , but this boys cleverness impressed her and she liked his way of thinking. She was amused as she had researched Misa Amane and she had noticed she was possessive, and that truly amused her , women who were super clingy and possessive.

" Hm....promise Misa won't kill me as soon as she knows I am a girl?" she said amused.

She knew that girl , though simple would be an obstacle. Though naive, when he had a true stimuli, like Light, she would almost be what she called clever. No matter what side she was , she wondered how this simple girl turns out to be an obstacle.

"Don't worry, Angel, Misa won't hurt you. You have my word.
To be honest...she will do exactly as I tell her. Misa wont be a problem.
Our true obsticle is L. Oh, and Misa is hardly intellegant to act on her own.
Everyting will go exactly as planned, Angel."

A almost slapped him, key word almost. She could not believe how he manipulated people. She finally figured it out , why she looked at Light and almost respected him. He was like L. Both of these men used people as pawns for their own enjoyment. She inwardly sighed.

" Seems pretty sad to deal someone who is stupid"

"Angel...i know that but if I don't do it....then we'd be caught by now.
You see, Angel....it's all for the greater good."Light explained.

A looked at him and thought of the girl. Misa was ......a normal girl to say at least, yes a few years her senior , she had a childlike quality.

" Well, you make it sound like a chore Light" she said looking amused " I mean she can't be that much of a pain"

Light laughed."Angel, if you met her, you'd understand. She can be a pain sometimes."Light explained with a sigh.

A looked at him sympathetically and shrugged.

" I feel for you, I rarely deal with stupidity, but annoyance ....I definitely know that. Especially when they won't leave'' she mumbled.

Kuro snorted at her statement.

" You stupid being, I would have left long ago if I could. I never want to be with someone so stupid" he said and floated away.

Ryuk chuckled."He doesnt gotta stay with the human, just in the human world. heheheh...I don't believe he knows that little detail. heheheh."
Light shrugged and looked A in the eyes. "Angel, enough about Misa...
How have you been using your notebook?"

A bit her lip and then she took a deep breath about to say something when Kuro growled and hissed at Light. She glared back up.

" I think this .....thing has no business knowing what goes on in that notebook." he said to her glaring.

A sighed, she knew he was right in some ways, but it didn't hurt to say.

" I have not yet put it in use"
